For 15 years he was an award-winning professor at the University of Florida in the US, teaching writing and communication to Honors and MBA students. In the private sector, he has worked as a financial analyst, communications director, and independent futures trader. After acquiring a minority stake in ZebPay in 2017, he took over ownership and relaunched ZebPay in India in January 2020. In March, after India’s Supreme Court overturned a central bank restriction, ZebPay returned to a leading position. Rahul’s long-term vision is to build ZebPay into a social enterprise, like Bitcoin itself, to fight poverty and inequality and bring opportunity and financial inclusion to millions. He has a JD/MBA from the Northwestern School of Law and Kellogg School of Management. He has been investing in blockchain and digital currencies since 2011.
